Links to UNC paths in html fields (webdesk vs console)

Hi All

I've discovered an issue with creating links to unc paths in html fields. The feature is different in WebDesk from console. It works fine in console bu i'm getting differing results in webdesk

I've tried a few different formats and it seems like the link functionality depends on which browser you use using. Here are my findings

I have tested IE (v11), Opera, Chrome and Firefox browsers and above are the only working combinations

Are there plans on making this consistent across all platforms (I've not tested it in WorkSpaces) as this is ideal for teams that want to keep their docs on a folder structure but still want the facility to search for it using Knowledge Searches
