Fresh 9.5 install - no users can authenticate

Hello,

 

Im currently trying out LANDesk management 9.5 for use in our university to manage end clients and track installed software. I did a fresh install of 9.5 today, and I am unable to login with any account. I installed LANdesk using my domain account, but that same domain account wont let me log into the console after its installed, giving a "authettication failed. Verify the credentials are correct and that the account is not locked or disable".

 

I checked every article I could find here, and even updated the com+ components with a domain login (mine) that has AD access, that did not help. I also created a local admin account, and added it to the "LANdesk Administrators" group, but even that cant login to the console (same error).

 

I checked the console.exe.log file and it added these lines:

11/16/2012 17:33:49 INFO  6320:Main Thread RollingLog : Starting authentication

11/16/2012 17:33:49 INFO  6320:Main Thread RollingLog : Resolving rights for CLAWREN1

11/16/2012 17:33:49 INFO  6320:Main Thread RollingLog : AuthenticationException Exception: Failed to authenticate

 

If anyone knows what Im missing I would be grateful. I really want to try this software out. I currenlty running it on a virtualized windows 2008 server, with a local SQL 2008 database. Ive completely un-installed and re-installed the software 2 times now, and still get the error.
