We just upgraded to LDMS 9.6SP2 and have deployed a test agent to multiple machines. The agent configuration contains the Endpoint Security module but we have left all configuration out of it and have no policies in use for now, we are hoping to implement some policies soon. The issue I am running into is having the pc reboot. When I choose to reboot or shutdown the pc from the start menu, the Endpoint Security halts the system from rebooting/shutting down. I can force the task to end which I prefer not to do or a work around is to open the UI for the Endpoint Security then click shutdown. If the UI is open when clicking shutdown, it performs a clean shutdown. I am thinking this might be a glitch but would like some input from some folks. Thanks in advance!
